Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast

French toast stuffed with strawberry Cheesecake could not sound any more decadent.

However, this recipe is the perfect example of how a few mindful amendments to a recipe can make it an option that’s better for your belly but still good for your soul. At less than 250kcals but dripping in taste – this definitely does that.


Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast

  • 1 tbsp lightest cream cheese
  • 1 strawberry and more for topping
  • 1 slice of bread gf if necessary I used newburnbakehouse gluten free
  • 50 g egg white
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon


  1. Mix 1 tbsp of lightest cream cheese with 1 diced strawberry.
  2. Spread the mixture onto a slice of bread and then cut in half and place the cheesy sides together to make a sandwich. 

  3. Whisk 50g egg white and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. 

  4. Soak the sandwich in the egg white

  5. Heat your oil of choice in a pan and place the sandwich in - flip after a couple of minutes and cook each side

  6. I pour the remaining egg white mixture gradually onto the sandwich as it cooks to soak more
  7. Serve with more strawberries, coconut yogurt and any remaining cheese mixture
