French toast stuffed with strawberry Cheesecake could not sound any more decadent.
However, this recipe is the perfect example of how a few mindful amendments to a recipe can make it an option that’s better for your belly but still good for your soul. At less than 250kcals but dripping in taste – this definitely does that.
Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp lightest cream cheese
- 1 strawberry and more for topping
- 1 slice of bread gf if necessary I used newburnbakehouse gluten free
- 50 g egg white
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

Mix 1 tbsp of lightest cream cheese with 1 diced strawberry.

Spread the mixture onto a slice of bread and then cut in half and place the cheesy sides together to make a sandwich.

Whisk 50g egg white and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.

Soak the sandwich in the egg white

Heat your oil of choice in a pan and place the sandwich in - flip after a couple of minutes and cook each side

I pour the remaining egg white mixture gradually onto the sandwich as it cooks to soak more

Serve with more strawberries, coconut yogurt and any remaining cheese mixture
