Cookie Dough Energy Balls

I LOVE cookie dough, but rather than buying it from the supermarket and consuming the whole roll in a park somewhere like I did as a teenager (don’t ask), I have made a healthier version and I just had to share.

I wasn’t completely sold on the idea of ‘energy balls’ until I made these. I presumed they would be high calories and taste gross, but have ‘tonnes’ of protein and fats so they gave you energy. I was wrong.

They were so easy to make, only 5-10 minutes and then they can be left in the fridge. I made mine small enough that they could be enjoyed as a snack but didn’t become an over indulgence.

They also genuinely taste like cookie dough. And I would know.

Plus I do feel like they give me an energy boost, or a feeling of satiety that keeps me going until lunch or gives a pre-workout boost!

  3. Roll approximately 15 balls and refrigerate them!

Recipe Notes

Around 35 kcals per ball!

*I use Protein Works Chocolate Peanut Flavour

**I use this Cashew Butter - its great if you like a creamy, nutty, nut butter! (Top tip: if you order big pots of nut butter like this with your protein powder it is MUCH cheaper than at the supermarket)
